I’m an Idea Man. Always have been. I recognized this at an early age and at the age of 20 I had a plan to start one business—a restaurant delivery service—and then leverage success in that business to start another one, and then another one, and so on until I ran a far flung empire of businesses. Unfortunately, my plans didn’t quite work out. I spent all of my 20′s trying to just get my first business off the ground, only to have it end in failure.

I started three more businesses in my 30′s, but still never had a hit. As I approached 40 I was ready to start a family, so I finally hung up my entrepreneurial spurs and started a career in the Internet industry.

And all the while those ideas just kept coming. I couldn’t stop them if I tried. Great ideas! Some big, some small. Always novel.

Today I’m an employee at a great company called Baynote, Inc. and I have two daughters to support. I don’t have the resources or the bandwidth to turn any of these ideas into businesses, let alone all of them.

But I love these ideas! And I just want to see them become real. So I’ve decided on another novel approach—I’m releasing these business ideas to the world and seeking people to champion them. I can’t drive these businesses, but I can provide the inspiration as well as technical and marketing support to the person who does. So what if I only get a small share of each company? I realize now it never was about the money anyway.

	eNormal - This will be a social application that combines Dear Abby-like advice, voyeurism, self-analysis, and incentivization into a really engaging little game.
	MentorNet – Since 1995 I’ve been doing web development and online marketing under this name, but I’ve got much bigger plans for this business.
	ScreenPlayMate – Unfinished system, long since gone to seed. But the ideas is to be a screenplay collaboration tool.
	SuperSurveySystem – This is a tool that helps people earn money taking online surveys while avoiding all the scams that clutter that part of the web.
	This is a tool that automates the process of setting up pay per click advertising campaigns in Google, Bing, Ask and others. Under development.
	Consolidated eCommerce is a multi-merchant ecommerce system that allows low-volume ecommerce stores to accept credit cards without having to set up their own merchant account at a cost of $75 or so per month.
	This is my attempt to recruit partners to launch a super-ambitious web project.

• Online Business Platform – An organized collection of all the tools and resources needed to run an online business.
• Personal Paparazzi – Paparazzi when you want them. Crowdsourced network of film people. Mobile Location detection. Franchise business.
• Corporate Clone – Form a corporation named after you. It is another human according to law. So it is like you, but it isn’t you. It is somebody else. Your Corporate Clone.
• Consolidated Ecommerce – Also under development. A multi-merchant ecommerce system.
• Alphire eMarketing – Currently set up as an email marketing application. But this should be more than that.
• Highway 1 Guide – An interactive map focused on the entire length of Highway 1.
• WaveCenter – Open source-developed collaboration platform based on a Joomla platform.   Game layer based on development on the platform as well as all the apps and content developed on top of it
• WaveLab – WaveLab is a companion project to WaveCenter. Pretty dormant.
• StoreFrontMoney.com – This is our easy digital webstore builder complete with customized and fully-loaded deluxe blog and marketing support.
• Website Publisher Pro – Cloned Joomla sites
• Social Scoop – Automated tool for finding and organizing social profiles
• KewLinx – Variation on Digg. Social ranking with visual representation.
• Joomla extReview – Complete reviews of all Joomla extensions
• Shill Locator – A hypothetical algorithm to identify paid shills that lurk in the social fabric.
• 2012 Social Network – A social network for people concerned about 2012 predictions – focused on local connections.
• Secret Paradise – Sharing secret locations via GPS.
• Social Circle – A simple WordPress plugin or embeddable object to facilitate social interaction on your website.
• Project Bootstrap – A network of blog sites built around WordPress.
• Blogadu – A network of blog sites built around WordPress.
• Edaptus – This was a business I started with Tim Wasson and Paul Sumares several years ago. Cool concept, but this one is here mostly because of the cool logo I designed.
